Oupa Sibeko – Plunger

Sinopsis: The process of making art, is in fact art on itself. Plunger is an act of cleansing the mind, the body and the ground in the process of making art as art. Plunger examines what constitutes valid knowledge and how knowledge is produced and used. The artist employs his body as a carrier of tools of art making, his mind as a vessel for ideas and concepts and the frame as a form of presentation of art. The artist employs all these tools in the process of making art.
